I love movies.  I them best when I have the opportunities to shop off the new releases or top ten shelves.  Although, sometimes the current masses hit it off with a good pick.

(the rating system isn't necessarily my personal rating, it's an average obtained from the Netflix and Internet Movie Data Base ratings)

Silent Bob strikes again . . . with all-star cast.

I had passed this DVD up many times because I've heard horrible reviews of the film.  I should always remember:  1. Critics never match my opinions  2.  Even bad movies are good movies ... (I don't know what that means either).

But, as I've mentioned before (maybe) I love 'end of the world' movies.  This is a funny, irreverent, clever and surprising educational Apocalypse flick.  The all-star cast did not distract from the storyline.  If I were to cast a movie, I'd pick most of these actors myself ... yes even Ben & Matt.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet.

A couple undergo a procedure to erase each other from their memories when their relationship turns sour, but it is only through the process of loss that they discover what they had to begin with.

<sigh> I've had days like this.

It's all about memory.  How you remember it ... how you forget it ... how you remember to forget it ... how you wish you hadn't remembered to forget.

It's kind of a dark-romantic-comedy version of an anti- Total Recall Soft Sci-Fi.  Instead, "We Can Forget It for You Wholesale"
